... the pattering of rain gets me out of my dreams. During
morning the spring rain becomes a heavy shower. The
packing of wet things is already a horror, but this puts me
over the edge! On top of this, the water is running in the
backpack and out of the backpack.
Gloomy clouds underline the fantastic coast line called
"washboard of the devil" (the area was formed tectonically
and looks like a washboard being washed over by the surf).
When I reach the border to the Miyazaki prefecture, the
footway also stops so that I can almost touch the trucks with
my hands. When the mood could hardly get any worse, I
suddenly see a really thick wild boar standing in a fold yard
at the roadside. "Well, you're alone too?" Squeaking
and
tail-waving the animal comes to the grid sticks and is happy.
I think you can still hear my laughter wandering trough the
valleys. After a little while the sun comes through.
