This day hasn't been mine. I can still feel the heat and the kilometres of the last days in my swollen feet. Already at the beginning there hasn't been anything but pain in it. Right in
the morning a trucker stopped and asked whether I wanted
to go with him - the rest of the day I've been angry for not
having accepted this offer. The blazing sun is pitiless and the road goes 5 km straight ahead and then comes a turn, goes
5 km straight ahead, etc. That means every 2 km get off
shoes and feet up! Once, when I'm just having a break, a grandpa comes out of a garden on the opposite side with a
2 m long snake hanging over a cudgel. He killed that beast in the garden. These are not really good news for the coming night in the pampas. In the evening the full pedicure program runs off: cooling, putting up and making compresses with ointment. Still about 33 km. For tomorrow I see no chance for myself with this bad shape.
