Day 11
All towns are similar
GPS-Position: N 31°, 49.626'; E 131°, 27.146'
Place: the south of Miyazaki
Etmal: 20 km
Total: 247 km
I am so proud that I can start already at 8 a.m. to do some
shopping and to cross the town. Yesterday two surfers, Steve
and Deborah, explained me where I get my urgently needed
spirit - at Super Drugs, corner 13./367. Now I am there and
the store is going to open only in one hour. Inside some
salesclerks are already walking around, and knocking on
the window I aks them wether they could charge my mobil
phone during the next hour. "Ask boss!" Boss answers
"No!"
That would probably have caused an overload of the power
supply system of Miyazaki! Anyway, live goes on.
One hour later, I am glad holding the spirit in my hands and
ready to leave the shop when the salesperson shouts
"Hanko!" (Hanko means a handmade, unique and personal
seal which is generally valid as signature in Japan).
I lift my thumb and by pressing it in the ink-pad I am sealing
this important contract.
Finished, I can disappear with the spirit.
... All towns are similar...
(By the way, yesterday it has been freezing again.)
