The first 1,000 kilometres

Well, the first 1,000 kilometres are done. Wind and weather couldn't yet get me down. But it's again and again amazing what comes up after having been lying two years under a film
of mediocrity, boredom and abundance. 10 kg of it is lying in the form of invisible fat globs between Cape Sata and here.
In the meantime Japan has been blossoming and everything creeps out of the "holes": people, countless snakes, all kind
of critters which make my nights rather interesting. Also
bears! One day I got the proof for it, because their fresh,
green shit glues under my boots. The people (apart from food, sake and the "carrot and stick" weather) in this country are simply fantastic: always helpfully, friendly, curiously and always in a good mood. I feel fine and safe in Japan! Just Amae! Thank you very much, Japan! Cheers for the next 1,000 km!
