The camping ground

After another night with frost patterns, another day with sun
and wind burning in my face, I have reached the Pacific coast
near Osaki and on top of that I find an open camping ground
in a wonderful pinewood. Hiroyoshi and his wife rush up
straight away to me. It seems they don't have much entertainment in winter! I even don't need to pitch my tent this
time, as I am invited to use a hut. I have baptized it "icebox",
as houses normally don't have any heating. The first hot
shower after one week of coldness is like walking on air.
Hiroyoshi put my aromatic smelling clothes directly into the
washing machine. Our evening together in their office with
sake, beer, grilled shrimps, chickens and salad, countless
stories, even more laughter and a manic dachshud rounds
up the picture.
