Today I'm walking once more in a quiet and peaceful area in
a side street on the other bank. Half of all "Tokyoter" are slaving away to the mountains on the main road. Old fashionable farmhouses line my street, ancient trees and an easygoing Sunday rounds out the picture and all this happens just on the other bank. On the other side there's the busy life
on the fast lane. On a meadow amongst blossoming
dandelion a family is sitting at lunch. It looks so damn nice
that I must take a photo. Of course, I've asked them and
before you can say knife, I'm holding a cup of green tea in my hand. I can manage not having to stay any longer, because it looks as if it's soon raining and so I want and must go on. In Usuda I'm sitting in front of temple stairs going uphill. I want to stay there. As I must go shopping before (I'm longing for sushi and sake), I ask someone passing for a supermarket. And Josh - this is his name - takes me simply to the next shop, so that I can buy some titbits. Once again it simply happens. My feet would thank him! Josh is a physiotherapist and today he wants to go flirting at the close O-hana-mi party. I am again
too tired.
