Day 63
The
ghosts I called...

A marvellous ice cold morning wakes me up in my warm little
bed. In front of my window a volcano, the Tenki, is smoking.
Yesterday there was nothing
Now then, up and go...!
I'm walking downhill through a lovely lonesome valley which
reminds me of the South of France. I'm just thinking about
the shit (droppings) lying on the road and come to the reason
that this looks like bear's shit (that's why I'm generally
interested
in). I'm just wondering if I'm right, when I hear something
snuffling below at the slope and just see the bear
disappearing in the underwoods. Oh shit (in the truest sense
of the word), bad visions come up ("Adventure Baikal").
I creep quietly away. A while later, sitting in the shadow
under a tree I orient the map towards the snow-covered 3 thousand
metres high mountains. Directly in front of me,
behind Nagoya, there's the Shiro Uma (White Horse). In another
life I drank there once a bottle "White Horse" on
nearly 3,000 m in my tent in a typhoon night listening to
Jimmy Hendrix... Still one day to Nagoya...
