Spring is coming?
GPS-Position: N 31°, 30.920'; E 131°, 09.112'
Place: 15 km on the road No. 3, direction Kushima
Etmal: 29 km
Total: 161 km
Even the zipper of the tent has frozen after the usual frosty
night, so that I hardly get open it! However, during the morning
the weather turns into marvellous springtime weather (get out
shorts!). At the first crossways I need the help of locals to find
the right way, 3 directions - 3 opinions! However, after
15 minutes of keen discussion (they are obviously enjoying
the marvellous weather), the yesterday veterinarians pass
by (cattle auction in the area). One more opinion and
suddenly everybody agrees on the right direction. The
veterinarians offer me then two suspicious looking bottles.
On my question, if there's "bull's medicine" inside, they burst
out laughing: "No, only vitamins!"
2nd Crossways: "Puh, I am hungry!" In a corner shop directly
at the crossways I buy bananas and cookies filled with soya
The grandma runs behind me and offers me something to
drink for free!
3rd Crossways: I buy food for dinner. The same procedure:
the woman and her son follow me and give me grilled chicken
meat, 1/2 l of tea and 2 oranges; for free!
4. Crossways: I have forgotten candles in the last shop and
coming back I get 3 sweet grapefruits for free.
in the end of this amazing day I pitch my tent somewhere
on the road and... a biker gives me a hot cup of coffee; for free!
