Day 74
The
Japanese sea
GPS: N 37°, 55.170'
E 139°, 01.258'
Ort: Seiro
Etmal: 28 km
Total : 1700 km
The first 10 km on road No. 113 I've had a real dogfight with
the trucks coming out of the industrial zone of Niigata-Higashi.
Unfortunately, the road is so small that the truck, which
comes towards me, must stop every time in order not to kill
me.
Maybe they've even told about in the traffic news. Attention!
Crazy Gaijin seen on road No. 113 or something like this...
Anyway, afterwards it has become really marvellous. The sun
comes through and the pinewood smells good. The
vegetation has changed and looks like in Sweden. After a while
the road runs directly along the sea. The water is not
yet really warm enough for a swimming competition, but it
is okay for a bath. In the evening I find a place on the beach
of a small village where you can still find ancient samurai's
houses. No traffic noise, only the rushing of the waves. Just
wonderful
(I hope there's no big wave coming...)!
