I'm dragging myself through a sunny landscape which could also be the Black Forest. Almost nothing more reminds of the "tropical regions" in the south. It could also be Scandinavia.
I can hardly believe to arrive on Hokkaido soon - the last stage of my trip. This region is less populous as the other part of Japan and rural regions are in the majority. The distances between the villages become bigger and bigger and the situation regarding the shopping stores are accordingly. Therefore, I can't buy food over long distances and I have
again a lot to carry. On the other side, there are a lot of Onsen (hot baths) where I can stew my tired bones. In addition I have quite interesting nights in the lonesome pampas with several mysterious noises from the darkest forests.
