Prolog
Voyage, Voyage
My flight with the
airbus 340-600 runs quietly - not shaken,
not wobbled. Aki and Tomoko (from www.g-style.ne.jp)
meet and greet me like an old friend, even though up to now
we have known each other only by sending e-mails. The last
gaps of information are filled during the second breakfast
and finally, Tomoko makes my mobilphone working with
the kind help of half of japan.
Afterwards both
of them show me the gigantic, historical
castle building of Osaka. But I really felt at home after
we have had lunch in the old part of the town:
1.000 tiny bars and 1.000 delicious smells. Then Tomoko
takes me to the
ferry leaving for Shibushi, Kyushu. Two
hours of backpack repacking, a relaxing bath in the sento
(a terribly hot communal bath) and 11 hours of a comatose
sleeping beam me up into the next day.
